The Flood
(Music by Lucas Chohany, Lyrics by Nicholas Horner and Lucas Chohany)

Paradise was humbled down by churning flame into the ground
When 40 day turned 40 year of crystal flood and waters clear
Wisped away by torrent tide where funeral pyres sang far and wide
And weary suns sank to the sea, the last remains of Galilee

Moonshine fell upon the earth cradled in a watery hearth
And trembling gazed the stars in fear for floods arise in every tear
Now hollers rang into the deep as I was lifted from my sleep
To gaze unto her sky and stone, a wealth of water, blood and bone

So hang your light from the pillars of your soul where your heart is burning bright
And tie it tight for 40 years of water clear, the flood she comes tonight

Heaven open up your door and take your pilgrims from this shore
But all that paradise would save became the gravel for the grave
